Calculate Your Upset Bid
How Upset Bids Work
In North Carolina, after a foreclosure sale, there is a 10-day upset bid period where any party can submit a higher bid. Each new upset bid restarts the 10-day period.
Minimum Bid Increase
The minimum raise is calculated as:
- 5% of the first $1,000
- Plus 10% of the remainder
- Or $750, whichever is greater
Required Deposit
You must submit a deposit of 5% of your bid amount, with a minimum of $750.
